Rivers and haor-bawr
Notable rivers of Maheshpur are Bhairab, Betna, Ichamati, Kodala and Kobadak. Besides Kazirbare Baor, Nasir Bawar, and Paraapara Bawar Ityi are notable. The cultivation of the previous agricultural land was based on these rivers and bauras. Or canal cut or canal was done to irrigate many agricultural arable land.
